Dear supporters of the performing arts of CMS (or as we call it, JAG/DAC)
It is with great enthusiasm that we are able to announce that due to the dedication of our students last year, the middle school has been able to provide an opportunity for theatre to become a more invested presence during this school year.
Our second season is sure to be filled with fun and intrigue. This season takes the time to acknowledge wonderful authors of the past, and hopes to encourage others to pick up one of these books and read them for themselves. Our plays hope to transport someone into the pages of these works. Our first play, A Christmas Carol, is sure to be a delight and will challenge our students as we incorporate more technical aspects of a stage production. Our second play, Treasure
Island, will be a wonderful opportunity for the family and our students to explore a young boys journey into manhood through adventure.
In trying to simplify things this season so we can focus more on the quality of the shows, we will be using general seating for our events. We will be using a first come, first seated basis this year. However, for sponsors who are of the Emerald or Rainbow stature, a reserved section will be set aside to ensure the best seats in the house. All seats, including the high sponsor section will be opened to the general public at 5 minutes before the show. Everyone is encouraged to arrive early to insure getting good seats.
Thank you so much for being a supporter of our new theatre program at
